Letter To The Canadian Government
March 4, 2002
To: The Canadian Government
FROM: The people who seek the truth.
You, tell us, that you would like to deal with this
Marijuana issue and bring about legalization or
decriminalization, but you can't, because of the United States.
What exactly is it, that they won't let you do? Fully legalize
it, or fully decriminalize it? You know yourselves, as well as
the U.S. and many other governments and people around the world,
that this should never be done, because of the chaos that it
would create.
Are they stopping you from partially decriminalizing
marijuana or delegating the authority to deal with this issue to
the provinces or anyone else? Are they telling you, that you
cannot do, what they themselves are doing? Do you have an answer
to give us? If you do, make sure that you give us the right one
and this might help you to decide.
The following, is part of an article, that was written, in the
December-January 2001/2002 issue of Cannabis Culture and is
located on pages 75/76.
SAFE PLACES TO GROW......... In the county of Mendocino,
California, the voters approved an initiative that called for no
enforcement of state laws for personal use amounts, which was
defined as 25 plants.
In Oakland, the City Council approved 72
plants indoors in 32 square feet or 20 outdoor plants for medical
use. In San Francisco, medical grows are tolerated. There are
many more locales through-out North America that have a pot-
friendly attitude.
Now, why do the governments of this country blame the United
States for not letting them deal with this issue? All of the
people that smoke Marijuana (POT) and the rest of the good people
of Canada and around the world would like to know.
We will be waiting for your response.
